What is VETS ROCK? VETS ROCK is a registered 501©3 non-profit veterans charity organization. Full Tax-Exempt status approved. EIN#27-0215202

How does VETS ROCK raise money for its program? VETS ROCK raises funding hosting music concerts, music related events, direct donations, business sponsorships, corporate sponsorships and grants both government and corporate. As well as other common fundraising activities.

Where does the money raised go? VETS ROCK is committed to putting a minimum of 70% of the general funding raised into the program(s) to provide assistance to veterans in need. The remaining 30% (or less) goes to cover the expenses of hosting the concert events, fundraising events any staff salaries and general operating expenses. Some examples of specific places the funds go are: Directly to a specific veteran in need, this may include providing food, clothing and shelter for an individual. Some of the funding will be shared with partner organizations such as Operation Stand Down nationwide, Operation Homefront and other organizations that are actively doing something to rid the US of its homeless veteran problem and to help ensure that veterans in need can regain their dignity as Americans.

How long has VETS ROCK been in business? VETS ROCK was officially formed in May of 2009.

Are there chapters in every state? Not at this time. Though VETS ROCK will provide assistance to veterans in every state as possible. VETS ROCK is always recruiting volunteers from every state in the US and does intend to have a chapter in every state.

How can I get involved? On the VETS ROCK website there is an application for volunteers. You can print the application, fill it out completely and mail it into our PO Box.

Throughout the year, VETS ROCK hosts events and fundraisers all over the US, so there is opportunity for people to get involved everywhere at some point. VETS ROCK is constantly seeking volunteers throughout the United States to work the various events that are held each year. For those who are not able to make a financial contribution to VETS ROCK we ask that they volunteer their time and energy to work events, or simply spread the word of the organization to everyone they know and show their support by asking their friends, family and co-workers to donate or get involved.

How can I donate? Donations can be made directly through the VETS ROCK website and our secure payment system through PayPal or Network for Good using a major credit or debit card. For those who do not wish to use their credit or debit cards online you’re welcome to send a check or money order to our PO Box listed above. You are also more than welcome to attend any of our events throughout the US and make a direct cash donation to a VETS ROCK staff member or Volunteer.

Where are concerts and events held? VETS ROCK hosts concerts and events throughout the United States. VETS ROCK prides itself on holding events in as many different locations as possible and providing performances from a range of musical genres. Many events may be connected to other charitable or community events in different parts of the US throughout the year and may not be stand alone VETS ROCK events.

How do you find veterans to help? Veterans in need of assistance can go to the HELP part of our website and complete the application for assistance if a computer and a printer are available to them. Once the application is completed it can be mailed or faxed into our office and will be handled from there on a case by case basis. VETS ROCK actively seeks out veterans in need in many communities and works with other veteran charity organizations to locate veterans in the most need of assistance.
