outrageous fun, with a huge circus like party atmosphere. You will come away from a Death and Taxes concert knowing full well these guys gave you 110% of their heart, soul and sweat, to deliver a two hour excursion into the world of Rock & Roll fantasy.
Los Angeles band Death and Taxes formed in late 2003, with the nucleus of the band consisting of Jay Link, ( lead vocals), Michael Cutting, of Holy Soldier,(guitars) and Dave Starkey of TNT, (bass) Link, Cutting and Starkey had played together in bands since 1982. In late 2003 they decided to see if they still had the creative magic and wrote four songs in five days, which they recorded at world-class studio LaFX in Burbank, assisted by Paul Monroe,the drummer of XYZ fame. The four song EP “Waste of a Perfectly Good CD” did very well was played on Internet rock radio all over the world, and charting at many # 1 positions with tracks “Trust” and “Serenity”. The current line-up of of Link, Cutting & Starkey includes drummer Izzy Diaz, who is an amazing addition to the band. The boys will be releasing “Inevitable” in early 2011 and will be touring extensively in 2011 and 2012.
